Don't the crickets tend to get stuck in awkward places in the tank, or drop into the water bowl n drown? Thats why i gave up doing that and hand fed my WTF with superworms/mealworms. Haha.

i covered any holes, big or tiny, found in the wood with cotton wools. so most probably they will run around ( no holes to hide ) visible to the frogs. so hunting made easy haha.
the water bowl that i use ( exo terra ) have tiny stairs that if a cricket accidentally got into the bowl, it will panic and swim around until it reaches the "steps", it manages to free itself haha. no drowned crickets so far. Last edited by 69efan69; 30-09-2010 at 12:34 AM. |
