This is like the 6-1 loss at home to Man City under SAF.

The 1st half was the killer and a shambles. Lack of fight compared to Liverpool. Defensively all over the place.

If Ole has any pride he should resign together with Carrick/McKenna/Whelan.
Player for player we are not inferior to Liverpool, even our bench is probably better than Liverpool's bench. But the difference is they have good proper coach who knows the strength and weakness of their own team and their opponents.
But whether they stay or otherwise depends on a business-minded Board.

Here are some questions for the United fans. Lately, there are too many goals conceded. What are the reasons compared to last season when the defensive record was better even though we let in more goals from set pieces, besides mistakes, loss of concentration, the usual stuff. Loss of Varane is one but we didn't have Varane last season.

I have my input but would like to hear from others.

All other teams have easily recognised that we have one of the slowest back 2 in Mcguire and Lindeloft. They can be easily be beaten for pace and time and again this season it was proven right.
Opponents also realise that from the start of the season, they have seen Shaw dropped in form very apparent too
And we have our front 3 that does not come to the aid of the defense whenever they loses the ball. Greenwood/Rashford and Ronaldo would stick to their forward position rather than help out. We see all top teams' forwards always ready to lend their backline a helping hand in times of need.
And most teams also realise that other than our weak backline, we have the weakest midfield combo of McFred which most teams easily capitalise

This big loss to Pools is really too much.
Final nail in thr coffin.

But also not a good thing for the long term if Conte become the new mgr as he isbas good as JM. He will build hisbown team to achieved Short term goal and then left the ckuh in tatters. No player from the Academy will be promoted to 1st team.

Apparently SAF spoke up for Ole and asked that he be given another chance for the Spurs game to decide.
This is simply prolonging the inevitable

When they decide to remove him, we maybe out of the top four placing , and also out of the CL already.

Barcelona sacked Koeman after 3 defeats in their last 4 games.
And what did the Glazers do?? They still have faith in Ole.
Simply not decisive.

WH defeated MC in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 score in normal times.
Both put out a strong team.

WH defence continued to be impressive, carrying from last season.

Here is my take.

Last season, United play a defensive, pressing and breakaway style against the top teams. Against the other teams that defend deep at Old Trafford, United found it difficult to break them down.

Pundits, too many, some ex-United stars, have so many opinions. Why is United not play their traditional way, if the other team scores 3 United should score more to win. Why is United playing a breakaway style even against top teams, they should dominate the opposing team, even City. Why is United playing with 2 defensive midfielders, McFred, play one and attack more. The opinions are never ending.

Mourinho and Conte win but they play their way and not United’s way.

So this season, United is more attack minded, perhaps after being criticised by the pundits. The fullbacks are up the pitch more. Ronaldo, the forwards and Bruno do not defend so much or press. Rooney said that he was the one doing more of the running when he played with Ronaldo in the team. If Ronaldo is in the team, then others need to do more defensive work.

This attack minded approach has led to less defensive stability and goals going in. A solution has to be found, and if Ronaldo is playing in the team. Ole and the coaches have to come up with something.
