No problem,iz free & open 4 comments.Anyway as wat I mentioned earlier, only SB senegal easily identified as SB. Tis may be due to the arrangement of the top finlets, body shape etc..Tis juz my assumption, but I suspect tis is the only reason I can tink of.Juz take a look outside, how many times can spot other species of SB bichirs(Other than senegal)? Anyway if hve, hope everyone here can share with everyone here 2 learn & exchange ideas/views.

sb senegelus is common becos its commonly kept bichir, one of the earlier kept bichirs.

sB endy i personally spotted 2 pc in singapore at 3" the thickness is like 2.5-3X its normal counterparts
but pricing is $200+

maybe this polli palmas may look sb as polli palmas max at ard 12"
and the dorslet fins very few 8-6 only

sb also not only defined by dorsletfin( although its a good guide) but also the "compressed" mid body of the fish. hard to explained in words
but no pics myself

Ken

I check the website as I remember someone posted a SB poly before. Its Bettafanautics. His gallery shows one of his earlier collection and there's infact a SB poly. You go and take a look. Its just like yours!

I think this one confirm SB. My 8" poly looks very different and has no compressed scales like yours.

Congrats! Take good care of it, want to sell, let me know first!! (A lot of people may have pm you )

Regards
