Finally, help my bro set up his FGT for his Big Red Aro and Fei Feng. The Eheim is a super mature filter, so setting it up to take in water then out into the fibreglass OHF, means water is super stable, ammonia, nitrate and nitrite is all the way zero. It was really fun. Setting up took less than 30min. Carrying the big black tub up the 2nd floor of the penthouse was siong! It was also quite fun, doing the cover. Went to Serangoon ave 2 to buy the materials, came back, 30mins tops, in the words of my bro, chop chop currypok, it's done. Sweaty work out, but worth it!

This is my bro's 23in Red Aro X belly and super red Fei Feng, Picture taken with Canon G11 with underwater casing, natural lighting, never buy lighting yet! Also, take opportunity to snap a couple of shots from his roof top. Nice!

Hi KF,

For the tub size, is it sufficient to run only by eheim pro2?
Or did I miss another pump in the pics?

Cheers Pete

Eheim pro2 is not the only filter, it is use as both a mature filter to aid the OHF in maturing faster and also as a pump to pump water into the OHF. There is only one thing in the eheim canister and that is biohome plus for all 3 trays. The filter has been running for 2-3 years now. The only thing missing is an additional powerhead or blower to help with water circulation in the tub itself. Should be done tomorrow.

can share what causes this, what is the feed for this aussie?

aussie are known to be the hardy fishes

sorry for your lost
