Default Crenicichla multispinosa "Suriname"

My latest pick-up I think she's a beauty though for Multispinosa I actually prefer the males. Now to hunt a male for her

Very nice pike cichlid sis.

Is it aggressive towards other tankmates?

Lovely pike, has anyone bred pikes in singapore yet?

Pikes are damn aggressive, used to have 2 in my 5ft and they terrorised every single tankmate.

LOL no idea. It's still with Schmike as he picked it up on my behalf

I have 4 other pikes in my tank though (Atapabo sp, Lent, Strigata "Red Back", Johanna) No aggression among them or towards other tankmates and both the Lent and Atapabo sp are about 6 - 7 inch whilst the other 2 are about 12 inches.

Used to have Tapajos 1 and 3 Venz together before with no issues too

There are really a few ways on how to manage aggression.

I'm also always on the look out for nice pikes :P
Basically it's the few LFS that carry them. There are a few others who are also always on the look out for nice pikes. It's really a matter of whose hands & legs are fastest >.<" since there are only a few of us pike keepers in Singapore.
