Mind sharing the video? Maybe we all can learn from it anyway a little too late to put bags now, haha,.

That's how I pack my medias now. Anyways, to be honest, you only save that little bit more space by not having bags, but inconvenience yourself more in the long term. The trick is to pack just the right amount of media per bag, so it isn't too rigid to pack. But personal preference bah, up to you.
Have to agree with you bro, the thing was I didn't prepare the bags beforehand and thus just throwed everything inside..
Maybe the next time when I remove my medias(if I have to) ill try put bags or trays or something to make it easier to remove.
I Auctually prefer medias without bags, but maybe after I have to scoop out all my medias then the time comes, ill change my mindset.

TS should put your media in mesh bag easier to do maintenance.

Hi bro, some feed back are the height of the glass in sump where it overflows to the next compartment are a little short to my liking.
If its possible to raise up higher more media can be put in(not sure if it could be raised higher).

Other than that, I'm quite happy with the design of the sump.

Find it nice to make a additional first compartment to allow better water flow and drip to filter wool, instead of one concentrated spot.

Overall I'm happy with this design

how about the flow of water touches your wool?

Having the first compartment overflowing to a drip plate, followed by wool, followed by jap mat, and another drip plate, the flow is quite spread out on the wool.. And also below the jap mat have nice even dripping on my bacteria house.

Much more efficient having this as it really helps spread out on the wool, instead of one concentrated spot.
