Talking abt pui pui Cory. I noticed some do get fat but there are some species no matter how they eat, they stay slim. For instance, laser Cory?

Hey brothers , for straight 3 days i have been clearing dead bodies of cories when i wake up in the morning ... Heart very pain ah .. All of the bodies have shown their inner with red spot like internal bleeding .... Is some sort of disease right ? Is it because of feeding frozen blood worms ?? My tetras also die one by one ... Any advise bros ???

So sorry to hear this bro, ill be crying my eyes out if I were you. If the condition is so serious maybe considering dropping the tank and just doing a full reset. Take the fish out. Either that or do a 90% water change and see what happens. Corys are usually super tough so the water change and shock is, in my opinion, far less likely to kill them than allowing them to stay in that tank. I still recommend resetting it completely though. If it were me i won't even keep any water in the old tank. Ill just get some new dechlorinated water and put the fish in that. I'd risk that short period of shock over transferring old water to the new, in case it's something in the water.
Maybe you could even add a bit of salt or methylene blue to that new water, in case it's an infection. |
