Bro, IMO 26HF(80W) is definately better but the power consumption is ard 50% more than 20HF(50W) so...$$ alot.. .

The solution offer by Joe is a Good entry-level Beck-Skimmer with good professional quality furnishing.....Double-Cheers!!

I will start to think about it in June...(Just committed my Macro AS-200P )..if I know earlier..

well, never too late ... you can always try mazzei. I still feel that venturi is still better than Needle wheel, at least the flow is consistent....

someone mention that the macro pump is not good enough ... so upgrade the pump will help ... but if you taking the needle wheel out from the macro pump = warranty void.

32hf consume 120W .. so it any of you are gettting the 26 HF, might as well get the 32 HF .... the additional flow provide by the 32 HF maybe very handy man. T-off to FR etc thus reduce another pump in the sump.

i tried the 32hf on my beckett n it proved too strong. a 20hf is oni good at "ground" level. so a 26hf would b right, IMO.

anyway, i dun like the idea off TEEing off. 1 pump spoil would affect many other equipments. moreover, it makes tuning on beckett more difficult.

true .. the pump for skimmer should use dedicated pump.

I'm currently using the 32HF as return, t-off for FR & chiller .. just nice.
Notice chiller running less frequent too...
