IMO, Cuban is more calm. I rarely see it "flinch" when I walk past tank. Florida is more scaredy cat, tropical more mild. While others complained about aggressive fishes, I have to say my comm is peaceful. Tips when trying to comm: 1. Add wave maker/ direct current of outflow Point the outflow such that it creates a wave laterally across the tank like many aro keeper do to keep aro peaceful. 2. Suggestion not to add 1 by 1. I added 1 Cuban to my tank of 4. Kena whack. I removed it. Add it to my 3 floridas in grow out tank while it heals. After 1 week, I throw all 4 gars in. No fight. 3. Feed slightly more Don't let them be hunger for too long The above are purely my experience with my own gars. I do not claim any responsibilities for your livestock |
