some corals like sun/super sun need to be fed, they are non-photosynthestic corals. Corals like Zoas and mushrooms not really needed to be fed but willl be good to feed them. They eat small planktons or some larger corals may even eat pods or mysis.. i feed my corals with Microbe-lift zoo plus and Red sea reef energy

Not necessary to feed all like what Evol said just the non-photo types need to to fed constantly. However even photosyn types like anemone(not a coral) zoa & mushrooms when fed looks better grow bigger & grow more.

I feed mine with 2 little fish "Marine Snow", Brightwell "PhytoChrom", frozen Cyclopeeze, frozen mysis & frozen MP. 2x a week for Cyclopeeze, mysis & MP. 3-4x aweek for liquid food like marine snow & phytochrom.

These are the corals & anemone food. I feed my fish at least once a day. This is also why I will change water twice every week till my BM Q3 skimmer is ready due to my heavy feedings.

Lots of commercial coral food available on the market Can just buy a bottle to feed.

Just an update on my current status. Won the war battling with hair algae with my hard working cleanup crews & lesser feedings. Change 2CW & 2R led optic to wider spread of 120 lens. But the frags I have to remove for now as they will knock them over the next day.

I love my pipe organ.

Electric Blue Hermit and turbo snails can see the hermit work its way through the algae in 5-10mins after I placed him inside. This was what it looks like 4days ago. Horrible hair algae & some patches of diatoms.

Just a update still the same size tank & equipment except the lights. I have switched to ATI T5.

Trying out some SPS. Can see that my pocci is not doing so well because my elegance & hammer stung it at it's old position. Many new horns from my bi-colour bn.

GSP showing good growth hopefully can cover the rock. Gonio is doing quite well despite my dumb clown hosting on it.
