Apistogramma Cacatuoides
Apistogramma Cacatuoides - apart from the aggassizi, the cacas are perhaps one of the better entry level South Americian dwarf cichlids to start of with for those who may be keep to have a go in keeping apisto.
Cacas are relatively easy to keep, comes with great finnage and a nice intense color for some selective bred variant. I chance upon a pair on the eve of CNY eve. A 'super red' pair. Not sure what is the difference between a 'Triple red'. Maybe its just the intensity of the red or just 'marketing'. Anyway its this 'quadruple' male that got me attracted. Both pevic fins are also red with black marking. |
