Default Shipping FH from Thailand to Singapore only

I had asked Shirley about shipping from Thailand. Below are my findings.

The below example is based a 4" flowerhorn packed in a liter of water.

The box used in the shipment is 60x40x40cm and assuming the above bag-size would approximately take one quarter of the box.

The cost would be around SG100
SG80 go to shipment fee and permit (Vary according to sizes)
SG20 go to repacking services in thailand (compulsory regardless of size)

However, for her to quote you the shipping cost. You have to ask your seller to send you a picture of the fish and the packaging for her to determine the cost.

As for payment, you will have to pay all the shipping cost to your seller who in turn will pay the transhipper in thailand. So the buyer bears the full risk

Shipment usually take one day to reach SG. But there is no fixed schedule, it is usually done once every fortnight. Best to check with shirley for more details.

This is all I had found out. if there are anything that I left out, other bro do feel free to add in.

Thanks Icy & guys,
this thread is good for all hobbyists.

I merged Icy's & Reddi's threads into one for reference & sticky.

Please post whatever market info you may have viz the lfs/farms willing to facilitate us hobbyists to import our own fish : be it your own personal experience or your queries to the farm/lfs.

Many thanks in advance.

I believe the price given is only for those overseas exporters who have regular business here with local importers. If your exporters is further from Asia, it would be a different price.

I had asked Mainland before and was quoted a different price. It was more than $100(as stated earlier) for transport and AVA clearance, in additional of a 7% GST from your overall cost of your fish.

I wonder if anyone can verified the actual cost?
