For DIY co2, u gotta wait for a while before the mixture starts to form Co2. And for it to form enough Co2 (pressure) for it to be diffuse out in to the tank.

it takes a few hours to a day for the pressure to build up to enable the co2 to "exit" from the diffusor.

more yeast = more co2 produced but shorter lifespan of mixture and vice versa
so you need to play around with the ratio to get the "correct" recipe that works.

never use glass bottles... the pressure can be great enough to burst the bottle. soft drink bottles are built to handle this pressure so it's a very good choice.

eh bro, my diffuser seems to have water enter it and i put it into water...will the co2 produced be strong to push out the water?
if not how to empty the water tt enters the diffuser ?

take out the diffusor, turn it upside down and "knock" out the water lor.
then attach the air tubing to the diffusor before putting back into the tank.
the pressure build up by the diy should be enough to "push" through the ceramic. you can also use those normal airstones.

if it works, leave it.
or you can attach the air tube to an airpump to pump the water out, then re-attach to co2 bottle.
