Don't know if it can really work? And does it kill all kinds of algae? Maybe they'll start to make a mini version for tanks And hopefully is cheap enough

actually that is call a sonicator which is often use in lab to dissolved things faster as vibration on particles made it easier for solid to dissolve and it is able to break down cell wall of bacteria.. hence it does harm the fish and may also kill good bacteria in the process...!!!
