thats for my experimental viviarium. well the recommmended drilling speed is

Hole size RPM
4 MM - 14 MM = 1600 - 2000
16 MM - 25 MM = 1400 - 1600
27 MM - 50 MM = 1100 - 1400

too fast the will cause the bits to wear out very fast. unless you are using a good lubricant. or your bit might articulate and damage the glass.

ya .. and they reluctant to drill a completed tank.. cause its not worth the risk for them... if break have to pay for the broken panel of glass.

just buy me a drink can aredi .. For more expensive tanks , better get a expert to do it . I dunno how long it will take to drill >12mm glass...

can know what the drill called if want to buy it from diy shop?
