They can get into filter tubes (Yes, ride against the flow), if you're not careful!

I've kept those with Bichirs ok

Thanks for the info, all. Just added this little guy into the ropefish tank
He seems to be a bit deformed though. His left pectoral fin is much bigger than his right... Usually i only see deformity where one side is stunted, never heard of a deformity where one is much bigger than the other
