ranchu eggs
Hi everyone, yesterday I bought 2 ranchus from nanyang and put them in a quarantine tank. Today I discovered lots of eggs at the bottom of the tank. I have separated the eggs into a clear container for now. Can anyone help advise what I need to do next? Do I need air pump or any other stuff to add to the water? Thanks alot

Wa, u so lucky lor. Read up and google. I only know, if the eggs are fertile, they will be brownish not white. And not to separate with 48hrs. If i not wrong la, cox i keep flowerhorn, and follow accordingly.

think u need to add some anti-fungal like meth blue or flavine with the eggs.
perhaps it may be better to take the fishes out rather than the eggs to prevent damage. then wait abt 3 days to see if see fries . good luck |

I tried that before. lots of eggs but only a few survived.
yes, air pump needed. eggs may get moldy too. take care. |

The female will fan the eggs so they don't mold right?
