Default I am keeping monthly update too

It's about 8 inch now after 6 weeks of keeping. Seemed to have lost the yellow golden tone (could it be due to I am not keeping it in a white tank ).

But at least some comfort to see full pearlies under dorsal fin & some shine on 6th level.

6 weeks in blue tank still have high shine and good development on 6th level.

This is a potential xb with go gene to start with, mind to share where it from?

Keep in dark color background the color will look better and can become more deeply intense.

Are you referring to the image? I have installed a UV and the water cleared up after few days

I noticed the degree of shine is better with WTT but pale out in blue/black tank and core color will show out. Please correct me if I am wrong

When you put your goldie in wtt early stage, yes you will see the color tone more shinny but in the long term all you see is high shine and color tone wash out looking.

If you keep goldie in btt early stage, it will slowly start acalmatize tank surrounding and in long term the color tone will slowly become deeply intense but crossing still depend on your fish genetic.
