anyone knows how to repair PL light?
I got the std two ballast two 36W retail light...
one tube was down earlier, so tried to component test the starters and tubes. starters ok can switch, but once I switched the tubes both died. so can anyone tell me what happened? LOL SIGH!! think both tubes gone? one side ballast shorting? dunno leh.. any advice? thanks in advance! |

May be you can bring it to Natural aquarium, it is at No. 1 Thompson road, opposite Thompson medical centre.

hmmm I bought from there... hehe
my 4' is on eballast, still very hot leh... anyway I can't remove the ballast from the plate, or the plate from the frame, dunno glued or what, else can get replacement from my hw store downstairs... |

most of the ballast r riveted onto a metal plate. U can try to remove the rivet thus freeing the ballast. Normally its quite difficult to move the plate after long usage, just spray some 4wd or u can use hammer to try hammer it out. good luck
