First try at Goldies

Nice goldies.
Used to keep them in 5x2x 10"ht with "chinese garden" setup many yrs back.
Only problem is the poo.
More headache than my panaque comm.

That's precisely the challenge in keeping goldfish. They are very adorable but messy. Water change alone to maintain desirable conditions quicker than the fish could pollute is almost a full-time job for many.

Ya. The poo is a problem. Had gotten used to the regime of manual cleaning of the poo whenever I am free.

These few weeks I am having this problem of fish laying eggs every time I change water. There are 1F and 3M in the tank. Its been like that for past 3WC and foul the water.

Nothing new. Just change 100% and add baking soda thats all.
and this batch only 6 months old. So young so horny already.
