Default Duckweeds for our beloved Goldfishes...

There is this fine duckweeds that the Thais are using and some Thais collect and sell them in packet of one or two kilos. I have brought back a few times these fine duckweeds from Bangkok and distribute amongst fellow hobbyists.

Recently I noticed that around our own Marina Bay Reservoir, this fine duckweeds are sprouting all over the water. One very big catchment area is near to the old Custom House next to the old Clifford Pier which is now a hotel.

Can see the duckweeds are quite clean without much other debris...need a long pole with a net to sieve them out from the water surface.

I seen some anglers fishing there early in the morning and no sign that say "no fishing".
