frogbit don't grow
Hi bros,
I have always heard of bros having frogbit and how they grow and expand the whole tank. However, mine is the opposite! I hope for it to grow but somehow it just keep diminishing! Is there something wrong with my water parameter that even the frogbit don't grow? My shrimps are reproducing but frogbit just diminish. Hope someone can enlighten me! Thanks and have a blessed day ahead! |

Hmmm.. mins is just a 2ft set up with LED lighting.

Do you have a lot of water surface turbulence? Frogbits thrive on still water and plenty of light. Try containing them to one side away from your outlet and see if they flourish.

what LED light are you using? if light is not strong enough they will not thrive.

I also started frog bits 3 months back.
Using 2x led spotlights. Seems bright but frog bits kept melting. 2 weeks back just added a single pink T8 tube, now they grow fast, almost cover my surface now. Could be the lightings? |

Should be not enough lights.

I guess down to 2 possible issues.
1) turbulence as the frogbit will keep moving on the surface. 2) Not enough lightning as mine is LED light and guess not strong enough. |
