Since you are building a pond so i guess you are staying in private estate. If you have the space and got the passion all type of fishes you can rear. Just do not forget to invite us if there is an open house.

What's the purpose of asking this question?
So which one easier to breed than u go for that? Anyway, if u want the answer, i think guppy easier.. basically no need to do much (not selective breeding).. |

haha. yeah agree. betta got quite a things tat need to be done, like conditioning the fish, removing the female.. etc.. guppy basically just breed by themselves, the only thing tat need to be done is providing enough hiding space for the fries to hide.

Just select a healthy male and female and put them together. Ratio of one male to two female gives a better chance of breeding. Provide plants n stuff for the fires to hide and feed your guppies well. Soon u will see fries

fancy guppy when ur doing selective breeding is not as rosy lor further more for continued strength in genes you need to break it into multiple lines. fries for better sruvivability will be grown out in seprate tank as well... keeping guppy professionally is not as easy as it seems.
