Update
Previously separated killies and platy to another tank. About 48hrs later I noticed smaller killie has rear tail rot! Big killie ok. Culprit of all my fin problems seems to be the platy?
Final test is to add one fancy to main tank without killies and platy to confirm.

Never read before platy are aggressive. All say nice natured.

with the photo, i think you may have another problem keeping the real plants alive. eventually some (or all) will melt.

take note, plants need to have proper substrate to do well....else, just put artificial plants, less of hassle.

Ya I figured too. If I place substrate below and top I cover with same blue gravels. When I siphon clean gravel, will blue & black all mixed u?

At the moment will see if my guppies lives before playing more stuffs.

I was having plastic plants previously but they seem hard and few fishy got traped inside before.
I was also suspecting to fin tear due to hard plastic plants cutting them.

After removing platy and killies from tank. I added a hi fin guppy to tank. All went well but now into its 3rd day a split appeared.

Sei bei sian! Could it be the danions? As in main tank was only danions and guppies?

Salt I did but seems to make them worst. Now trying few days aged water. Once I stop melafix the rot comes. I also thought is that simple.
