Default Wave maker flow rate & tank size

I am getting a wavemaker for my 422 tank ( 432 litres ) because the fish poo not sucked up by the pump. Is one with flow rate of 10000 LPH too much ? What should be adequate? Thanks.

If it works
Why not?

Will it be on 24/7? Can consider timer too

How big are your fishes? As long as they are comfortable
