Hi all PNT experts here, I know it is not good for PNT to have too much protein in their diet becasue it might cause shell rot. MP is high in protein. Do you think 1 average size MP a day for a almost 10 inches PNT is a lot? Its diet will be 1 spoonful of pellat in the morning and 1 MP at night.

no 1 is expert here. all just sharing experience n knowledge.

too much protein wont cause shell rot. shell rot is due to poor water quality which usually starts off with fungus. too much protein will cause upturn shell.

1 avg sized MP a mth may be better than once a day. just have those as treats instead of their main diet. their main diet shld still b on plant matter n pellets. u feed it 1 teaspoon or 1 tablespoon of pellets? i feed mine 1 handful every night.

no choice cos i currently try to comm my PNT with my ITs and it seems peaceful for now. Yeah, i guess if PNT is full, it wont go n disturb others.

PNT will eat those MP left over by the ITs. ermm.. i feed 1 plastic spoon of pellet. those spoon that stalls gave when u "tabao" rice.

maybe u try to feed less MP to the fishes so they will finish off everything before the PNT tries to eat the MP.

that shld b ard 1 table spoon. for a 10" PNT that shld b enough.

any pics of ur PNT?
