Default Aro jumping during midnight

Hi all, have your experience before your aro keep jumping in the mid night? For my is 2 days ago when after feed him I on the light and he like reach differently, so I off the light than he become better and swim. So last night I do it the same and off the light after feeding, how ever he jump 2 times very loud until the water also splash out. So after that I on the light he become ok liao. May I know what happen to him?

bro des, at times the aro is spooked.
just leave one light on to calm the aro.

My aro used to be spooked easily when lights off last time....so i have to specially buy one small tub of T5 light and turn it on throughout the night....some tankmates may help also...

It is better to keep a light on. I use a 7w LED as my night light.

Yup, as most bros mentioned, arowanas are easily spooked. Avoid total darkness or sudden movements.

I just bought a 2w LED light. Save on electric bill. It is will give sufficient illumination at night.
