Default Finally, i owned a 422 tank.

today was the day i went and collect a 422 tank from a bro in af..
very dirty cause got calcium and blackwater stain.. thanks to koji for the introduction of melamine foam, i managed to clear all the blackwaterstain.. and used pen knife to remove those calcium stain.

after 2 good hours of washing, a pretty new looking tank is at my corridor... awaiting cabinet to come at night.

thanks, sure will.. currently planning on a RTG, spotted gar, Feifeng, 2 endi and 5x small clown loach.. anyway, for a 4ft 9tray OHF, where can buy, how much and how many litres of MR Aqua CRs is needed to fill up the trays?

and too.. is eggcrates(with weight added) enough as a cover?

With weight added I don't think it is a problem

looks new & nice after your 2hrs hard work.
btw, where did u get the melamine foam from ? i've tried NTUC jurong east & teck whye and some other supermart but not available. i found 1 only from SCOTCH BRITE but it stated not suitable for fish tank and i think it's not made of melamine either.
