The Pasir Ris Hawker Centre opened with much hype. Now, many stalls at ground floor are closed.

Hi guys, main topic aside, i just had the best chicken cutlet in my life this afternoon as far as i can remember. It was at Yishun Ave 4, Blk 654, Do n Me Western Food. Only $5.50. Cheaper than hawker centre, the cutlet meat is thin, crispy, flavourful and bigger than my face. One portion can keep me full for five hours. The $6 fish and chips my friend ate and i tasted some was quite amazing too.

At such price and value, maybe some coffee shops can give expensive hawker centre a run for their money. I hope they keep it that way. Dun go renovate and after that price increases 30%. Or, worse food quality drop.

One reason is this hawker centre is not near residential areas. Not many would make effort to walk there also.

East Coast Park hawker Centre is also not near residential areas, but there are many activities in the park that can draw in the crowds.......
