Permanent lines on Whiteboard
Any tips or tricks to make permanent lines on whiteboard?
Now I'm using permanent marker to draw lines on whiteboard, but when I clean off the whiteboard after using, many of the lines will be wiped off together with the writing. Very troublesome, every few days must draw the lines again. I tried scratching the lines using a penknife, but end up destroying one whiteboard |

but we did in my previous work place, was to use the black scrotch tapes (those tape cables kind). You have to find a way to cut it to the width you desired then paste it on the whiteboard.

draw the lines on the white board using permanent marker, after that you can use those clear plastic wrap to wrap around your board. that way when you rub off the normal white board marker ink it would not affect the permanent marker.
doing this your board can last very very long, when the plastic sheet get stained after long usage, just need to change the plastic sheet, and your board will still be as good as new. |

Hello - May i know the purpose of drawing the permanent on the whiteboard?
Is it to present the differences or advantages/disadvantages of somethings? If yes, you can consider purchasing 2 smaller whiteboards, separate them, you will be that 'permanent line' by standing between the 2 whiteboards while you do your presentation. |
