Recommended florescent light system
Not sure which forum to post but guess this is it. I wanna set a shelved tank system like LFS, and need a 4 feet flo tube above each 4 feet tank. need 9 in total.
For water prrof[maybe splash prrof] and durability point of view and also price ! which is the best brand brudders would recommend. there are very nice casing these days for planted aqms, but cost is ? |

am looking for something cheap....there is a wooden plank at the front where I can hide the tube. Was thinking of using simple flouro tubes like our hosuehold type...BUT.....waterproof ? Prefer casings |

If looking for casing type, either try Dymax's Matrix or JBJ Formosa Desktop Lights. Pricewise, the latter is slightly more expensive....
Else ask someone like Dr evil to custom make/DIY for you. Here's his DE Lights website or some of the other DIYer, namely badman and orgas Here's some pics ,T5 setup done by dr.evil : |

Some advise:
1) If you buy more than a few, negotiate for a better price 2) If your 4ft tank is for planted, I recommended getting the 4 bulbs set instead of the 2 bulbs set. 3) Remember to get planted / non-marine bulbs |

If you want to DIY yourself, you can get TWO 2x54W T5 HO in casing less than $300.
