I think CL300 or CL450 would be better as you dont know if you might upgrade in future.

Beside that you can set the temp to 23C for you 2ft if you intend to keep CRS. CL280 will work harder to get 23C and will kick in quite often especially temperature nowadays turning hot.

Bill jumps you pay loh. haha.
If I am not wrong, the number indicates the wattage. so CL300 is 300 watts.

My CL-280 also rattles when it starts, but I think thats okay.

I do not mind paying for the bills.
Only worry CO wants to close the operation. I will then post to sell away the tank.

Thanks for the information. Good to have a chiller.

I have read some reviews on Hailea chillers and it seems that the reviews are rather positive. I have a 2 feet tank and am using Eheim 2213 canister filer of flowrate 440l/hr.

One of the bro recommended me the Hailea HC-150A selling at Petmart for S$330. It has 1/10 HP. Do I need to get a bigger one? I was told that the bigger the chiller, though takes more power is more effective in chilling the water and so takes less time and thus resulting in using less electricity.

I am also using a 1/10 HP chiller for my 2 feet, but it is the Resun CL-280.

1/10 HP is okay for 2 feet. But if you want to upgrade then might want to consider another one. If it is for CRS, upgrade might mean starting another tank, and it will means buying another chiller and thus 1/10 HP is good enough
