Mushroom no need. Other coral like sun coral can feed mysis or brine shrimps. This is what i read from books and internet, i also researching on coral like u.

Just want to point out to you that Live Rocks and Corals are two different things. You can keep both Live Rocks and fish only tank as long as your water temperature do not exceed 30 degrees (so u don't need a chiller). I would recommend that u start with this type of set-up first i.e. fish with live rocks only (in short "FOWLR" set-up). Later u can slowly monitor your water temperature and if u find that u are able to maintain 28 degrees and below, then u can consider adding corals (eg mushroom corals as recommended).
