Which HOF brand is better and reliable ?

Anyone have try HOF for 4ft tank with undergravel filter ?


I am trying out using 2 HOF ( Atman 600 ) for my 4.5ft x 1.5ft x 1.ft connect to my undergravel filter still not so sure if it's efficient , any suggest or advise ?

Thinking of changing to higher flowrate (e.g 800l/Hr )

You considered getting just a cannister filter? Its better, more filtration medium.

If you're having rooting plants and/or base ferts, undergravel filters are not the way to go and the base fert will leech into the water and the roots can clog the filter up.

Hmmm.... Thanks for the advise but I am not going into any plant in the soil , just mosses tied on the rocks and DW , And maybe some mosses tied on the Mess for the ground . Still have not decide yet .
