not everyone is lucky enough to have big space and as for me, to own a house. a gd mentality for me in fish keeping is to keep them healthy and knowing wats best for them... different ppl have different capabilities, eg. expenditure, space, time..

Its not a must to keep all the fish u want to. Only keep those u r "able" to.
If u don't even have the min requirements n future plans for the fish, just admire them in others' tanks. Never stunt a fish just because u r unable to provide it a proper setup. Its cruel to it. Last edited by Schmike; 18-03-2010 at 08:15 AM. |

Gars are not really fast swimmers especially in a tank. They typically 'ambush' their prey so you may need to give them slower swimming feeders such as goldfish, small koi or guppys. Swordtails could be too fast for them.
