i got my zebra crayfish. need help
hey guys. i got my zebra crayfish yesterday. i filled a 1ft tank with about 2 inches deep with water but with no air pump. i added anti chlorine soln and i put the new crayfish inside.
do i have to include an air pump? how do i make the water hard? i read on some websites saying tat crays thrive well in hard water for moultin purposes. pls help i've done a search on crayfish on this forum but to no avail. thanks so much!! |

used crushed corals to increase your hardness and better to run a air stone to
provide oxygen in your water at all times to prevent them from "drowning". They breath through gills too, kinda like fishes. and if you do not want high water level keep the level at least slightly above their heads for best effect. |

the minimum height is at least up till half of their carapace where their gills are
located. And because they do have filter in those boxes. They'll have to change the water though small amt but regularly. That's how they "survive". Their stock rotation is fast, that's another thing to note too. |
