Unhappy 1 of my IT passed away, very sad

2 days ago transferred 1 of my 6' IT in main tank to my 2 ft tank coz it has been bullied badly by other ITs and also become quite skinny liao. Tot of housing it alone with 1 endy and fire eel for some TLC for a period before putting it back to main tank..

Yesterday nite noticed it like a bit lethargic and swimming in slow motion. Tested water para and all readings ok except PH at about 7 compared to my main tank at abt 6.6. This morning woke up shocked to see it floating on surface but still got some life - quickly fished it out to a small pail, add salt, put airstone & holding it in swimming position under the airstone. Sadly, it passed away in my hand 15 mins later

what could be the cause as endy & fire eel still ok in the 2ft tank? Regretted the transfer as it might still be alive if it remains in my main tank.

no mood to work

Probably fish condition is not in good shape before u put into 2FT tank, temperature changes and water parameter might be another cause of shock to the IT....dont forget, in a smaller tank, parameter swing faster and higher than big tanks with bigger water vol.
