from what i know, juvs should have bristle. about 1"+ can see the bristle already. male or female also have. only the males will grow extra and longer bristle as they age. female will have short bristle. am i correct?

after the old pair passed away, I have been keeping the babies till now... around 2 years old already
there is one pair that breed in the beginning of this year, but only have 3-4 fries survive and then there is no show... 2 days ago, one pair finally gave me babies, but they are staying with my goldfish, so faster take out the cave, some babies and the parents. Then the next day, another pair in another tank also have babies, and they are staying with my guppies, and saw the guppies were attacking the babies, faster fished out all the guppies. now the first pair , first time breed, gave me more than 20 babies, and the sencond pair gave me 15 babies.. Finally the wait is over! |
