Looking at the underside is about the most effective way to determine the sex. Different colour morph can crossbreed but usually not possible across species unless closely related.

Yes, moulting simply means a change in clothing. However, if there is shell rot, it might not recover immediately. Feeding regime seems ok. Just dun overfeed.

btw is it true that crayfish only fight if their sex is the same?

male and female will not fight?

i rem posting the same question as you and the reply i got was regardless of sex all will fight one

the other thing that I worry is could the undersize crayfish could it be different batch to arrive to the shop and are still babe???

heh, din see ur post till now - just came back from C328 - saw 1 pure black cray, was so tempted to buy it but in the end never coz want to wait and see wat u will be keeping
