forget about the betta fins, forget about the posture..does this constitute a good shot? pardon me.. i m photography newb...

mmm..can i just check with u, do u guys normally use a piece of translucent white paper to cover the flash when u wanna use flash?

either not use flash or use external flash.
use paper to cover I never try before..
or take at an angle...

I prefer to flash from above rather than direct.

Check out the effect when using top flash for bettas in my gallery.

i've tried that, i cover my flash with Tissue paper,it sort of diffuses the light.i also take at an angle.tried to have strong lightings.i personally believe taking fish pics with external flash will be a better bet. cheers !

but sir... without flash hard to catch the image leh... i tried on olympus camedia c370 zoom.. any idea... there's a sample in my gallary

u mean u jus cover the flash then can take the natural envi dy??

bro, yes i cover my flash and take pics of my tank under a small tube of white light.* lighting is def not good enough cos i;ve not invested in better lights. Cheers!
