But i thought the instructions say do not add salt? Cause i age water by using pump, conditioner n salt. So wouldnt the water be having salt? and i saw some threads stating that it's some kopi color. But mine like no color? Did i add too little?

i don't usually add salt during normal WC.
i only put in salt when the betta is sick. (as recommended by the FAQs thread)

initially like no color, but after 1 day or sothe water will become slightly yellowish liao. at least for mine.

Oh. So normal aging of water no need add salt? I thought they prefer water with a lil salt?

In all situation use salt. therefore in normal daily water change dun add salt. Ketapang leaves can help too, in fact, help a lot.
Dosage of med, according to instructions or trial and error.

Another thing that im pretty unsure of. Can the bettarelax be used as a med? Or is it just a conditioner for the water?

Question bettarelex

I used to use the bettarelex. Attached photo is my tanks set up.
Each tank have filter and it comes with active carbon inside filter media.
First day when I put the bettarelex, the tank is yellowish. But next day it become clear water. My bettas are happy in both with bettarelex or clear water.
And I worry if I keep on adding bettarelex, active carbon will absorb all and release some poisoneous chemical again after sometime.

But I need advise that should I remove "the carbon filter and add the bettarelex" or "with carbon filter and clear water without bettarelex".

Which will be the better option for my betta?
