He is feeding well in his growout tank, yes im scared my growout tank getting to small for him thus wanting to transfer him over.. Both decisions also have risks, i really dont know how to decide Noted on the low profile DW part, seems like a good idea, at least have some protection if needed.

Don't think you need to worry too much TS.. The size difference is only by a few inches but however u might wan to increase your feeding regime. In case if they are hungry, they will try to attack your tig. Feeding once every 3 days is a bit too little IMO. Just my 1 cent

Yeah agree but I scared cos my tig is long but skinny haha..
Guess I have a plan in mind to introduce him with a low profile dw as mentioned n stay home one whole day n monitor him.

Is your tank mate having same diet with tig ? Your tank mate must feed enstuff so they won't disturb the tig. Get a DW for tig to hide .

Intod to main com once above ok.

Yes my comm is on mp.. Same diet as tig.. Every 2-3 days feed once enough?
Will get a dw if I introduce for hiding spot

Nah, dont worry, all your main comm fishes still small. I tried even more extreme cases lol. 14" vatf with 4" hook still no issue juz torn finages only.

Haha mine Lagi worst.. 33" gar with 8-9" birchir.. Haha
