I won't consider this pc nice at all at this stage. Its still very far fr nice for a PBB. hopefully it will turn out well under my care.

Both CB or WC? I had a lap before. It darkens when I have blackwater but turned pale when the water is clear. As for why 1 is dark the other is not I believe could b the source or where the fish is collected if both r WC.

Also remember Shmike, they are wild caught so it's quite normal for paler colors, and less contrasted patterns.
Though they will Colorado up once settled.
