calico ranchu wat are the features u all look for ?
unique colour ?
black spot but not too many become messy
tail also dcun wan too mnay black strip ?
white or red head ?
bubble head ?

Went Mainland and saw some calico ranchu. Abit hard to view though. The fish dart to the front for 3 secs and then swim back to the green background -_-

I think choice of calico ranchu still need the basic ranchu curved back and tail angle. Personally I like calico ranchu with coloured fins and good head growth, the body anyhow spotted also can but as long small-scattered as not like big islands can liao.

I too am on the look out for a full white head growth and white/black spotted ranchu baby. Got such thing as panda ranchu? LOL, I siao siao one. Maybe in my dream lor

Not the fish timid .. more like lazy.... fish swim to the front of the glass (can see them clearly) then next then slowly disappear into the fog of green. Maybe I take long time to analyse but when the fish disappear to the back of the tank, I cannot find the one I like liao... Like the movie "The Mist" la but less scary LOL. I also paiseh to ask for net.

so far i think the fishes quite nice but i into oranda only so other fishes not too sure

May I know where can I get many variety of oranda or lionchu or svr for sales(abt what size?). Don't have to be top or show quality. Got a tight buget($20/fish). Thanks a lot.

Go to QianHu, lots of selection for your price range. Size maybe from 2inch to 4 inch. Good Luck
