Agree, I am now DIYing 2 units, one biological unit, one Sulphur + Hydrocarbonate unit, intending to work both to see which better, although I might discard the Sulphur unit, cos of its relative danger.

Rule of thumb: Water change still a must but we may reduce the frequency. Like what Goh said, disconnect the sulphur denitrator before you apply medication to the tank. The tank could crash because of the massive die off of the bacteria.

trying to negotiate one from Tuas, other wise, use expensive options like Aquamedic , Deltec, Shuran Sulphur replacement...muz get MSDS,

How about checking with Ken ? he have access to lab grade stuff, sulphur bread may be one of them .. haa haa.

oh yah hor, why didn't I think of that contact Sandman, scali he might just bring out a ready made Lab grade denitrator pm him and see how.. Thanks.
