If the Aro is in com tank than let it be, single pc in tank than you can trim it since the Aro still young. It will grow back fast.

I'm noob to this procedure. Currently I'm thinking cut off about 3 quarter of the barbel. will cleanly cut both the crooked one and the normal one so that will grow back equally. advisable? heard that if cut too close to the mouth, there is risk it wont grow back le |

I agreed with bros here that needn't required to cut. Furthermore, IMHO, barbel is hard to grow, and there is no promise that it will grow straight.
