The ray is less active and still eating.. The swollen flap is there for many weeks.. First I noticed the flap colour seem to fade, then slowly its start to swell.. And I mean really slow... That why never noticed it, till it start to swell real badly. Now I have add pimafix and water change 30%, temp raise to 34.. Stop feeding for the time being. Hoped everything will turn out fine.. |

Another option.. Can use seachem paraguard. Paraguard seems can cure many things. Hopefully can cure the cause of this swollen flaps.

i do not keep my rays with substrate..my immediate thought your ray may be sensitive to the sand.. have you tried to keep them w/out the sand.. ? this is the first time i saw something like this..

I suspect they may have some infection & may need antibiotic injection. Try asking our ray breeder bros here.
