Default Q on feeder fishes

Hi all,

I know best is to avoid feeder fish because of the parasite they carry, my Q is very freezing the feeder kill the parasites? Trying to breed mollies currently so was wondering...

Probably not? Anyway why not try MP?

If you are breeding mollies and you know the fish are healthy then there should be no problem. The problem will be trying to get them off live fish.

Yup I'm feeding sotong ect to my Bds just wana give them a variety of food

To solve that I plan to freeze them, that's why I was wondering whether freezing feeder fishes will kill the parasites.

To my knowledge, freezing usually kills most parasites. That's why in the US all raw food like sashimi is usually frozen first to make it safe for human consumption. No such thing as fresh sashimi there
