Ease of keeping: easy
This ray is small among the rays. A non-aggressive ray, but difficult to keep. Depends on the initial condition of the ray when acquired. It is the first South American freshwater stingray to be scientifically described
Ease of keeping: easy, but difficult to keep. ?? dun understand this part, is it easy or difficult? and at first said that pdr hardiest, then say jaguar hardiest?? so which is which, pls verify my doubts, thxs

Something to add, there is a species saltwater converted rays on sale in LFS. They resemble the Himantura chaophraya, a true freshwater ray found in mekong thats currently endangered in thailand because of overfishing, but it occurs in australia too and is not affected there. This resemblance caused much confusion and arguments before. Through conversations with LFS owners, i have been informed these rays selling at 28-35 are indeed converted atlantic whip tail rays. The true Himantura chaophraya reaches a whopping size. below are some pics for reference, the atlantic whip tail looks very much like it in a smaller scale.

Perhaps, this is the smallest stingray.

for sure the most difficult ray to keep. why i noe 2day witness 1 death curl. heart super pain
this frm wat i read and heard and seen is very sensitive to not only ammonia but pH . 2day found out also temperature
but its the cheapest in LFS for nice rays.
