I think it is best not to put any kind of sand, rocks etc inside your goldfish tank. Cos they keep looking for food, digging here and there. those things might scatch them. And it is easier to clean up your tank. not unless u have water plant.

hi,
i do have live plants in my tank. not sure what plants they are, will post a pic if i can borrow a DC. but they are "artificially" attached to some small logs, so not sure if the gravels and food waste will benefit these plants. anyway, i have not done a thorough search, but, is there any plants that serve as "snacks" for the goldfishes in case they get hungry, or in case i'm away on a holiday for say, one week? |
